To create a bootable USB drive in easy way, we will use only My Computer as a Windows default file browser. Here are step by step to create a bootable USB drive as the Windows installation media. To create a bootable USB drive as a Windows installation media, we require at least 4 GB for minimum capacity. Larger capacity is better. At this moment, I use the USB flash drive with 8 GB of capacity as just an example. STEP 1:   Open "My Computer" STEP 2:   Insert your Flash drive into your PC STEP 3:  Locate  your flash drive and right click on it STEP 4: Click on format option STEP 5: Now new window will appear.
